The majority of faults with 12v electrical goods arise due to poor installation and/or bad electrical connections - please make sure you have followed our guidance on installation (available at product level in the shop pages) and checked for any issues. If the product was installed by a third party it is advisable that you contact them in the first instance to check that the item is receiving the correct voltage, the cable sized correctly and that there are no loose connections.
A troubleshooting guide for the fridges can also be found in the instruction manual, including instructions on performing a factory reset, along with a list of fault codes. If you have lost the instruction manual please contact us and we can forward a PDF copy.
If after some basic fault checking you still believe there is an issue, please get in contact with us and we will do our best to troubleshoot over the phone.
Our warranty procedure is set out below.
1. The affected product will need to be sent to us for testing. Please note postage is at your own expense until a fault is confirmed.
Note: We can arrange return postage, which will be reimbursed if a fault is found.
Fridge postage = £20 Inverter/DC Charger postage = £13.50 Torches = £8
2. We will test the unit.
3. If a fault is found we will either fix the fault and return the unit to you, or issue a replacement unit. We will reimburse postage costs incurred by yourself and post the item back to you at our expense.
If no fault is found we will provide evidence and return the unit to you.
Please note postage both to and from us is at your expense if no fault is found.
We have sold in excess of 500 Alpicool fridges and only had 4 genuine faults, so please check and double check the installation.
